Connected Tennessee Helps Communities Plan Broadband Technology Expansion

Connected Tennessee, an independent non-profit organization dedicated to making the cost of technology expansion go down and the ease of doing business go up, is working diligently with communities to assist in identifying priority projects on the broadband infrastructure side that may be eligible for Broadband Stimulus funding under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act.

Connected Tennessee is currently working with communities throughout Tennessee to engage and assist community leaders in broadband (high-speed Internet) infrastructure development and strategic technology planning for their county. These partnerships will accelerate the availability and use of technology toward creating a better business environment, more effective community and economic development, improved health care, enhanced education and more efficient government throughout Tennessee.
