Advertising technology and services provider EDO Interactive announced completing a $20MM series B financing to support sales and marketing of the Prewards deals and incentives platform. Financing was co-led by Baird Venture Partners, based in Chicago; and, by VantagePoint Capital Partners and included participation from EDO’s existing investors, according to EDO.
In a release, EDO said it is now expanding its Chicago presence. No hint as to whether or not the headquarters might eventually leave Nashville to be near the new investors. Existing investors, including Claritas Capital, participated in the financing round, EDO said, but no word on whether any existing investors sold any of their stakes in the process of recapitalizing the company.
