Nashville’s largest full production television studio, NorthStar Studios, is hosting Investor Day for Jumpstart Foundry, a mentor-driven, seed-stage microfund and business accelerator, on August 22^nd at the Nashville broadcast facility.  NorthStar Studios is dedicating four of their studios to host over 500 potential investors to which nine entrepreneurs will present investment opportunities for their startup companies.

NorthStar Studios will also be live streaming the event with their new high definition streaming service called VenueStage which integrates social media platforms with the streaming content, developing a totally interactive experience for the audience and presenters. Those outside the Nashville market, who cannot attend the investor day event in person, can watch the event live from multiple platforms.

For the last decade, NorthStar Studios has specialized in studio production and network origination, and has now developed a new streaming event division called VenueStage. “The Jumpstart Foundry Investor Day is a great showcase for our VenueStage streaming system and it also allows us to participate in supporting burgeoning entrepreneurs to launch their new endeavors and enhance Nashville’s reputation as a great city for startups,” says Grant Barbre, president of NorthStar Studios.

Jumpstart Foundry is a 14-week mentor-driven, business acceleration program for tech-oriented startups, culminating in the launch of successful startups. Investor Day is where those investors present to venture capitalists who are invited to invest in their businesses. “We’re so excited for this event. The teams have worked incredibly hard all summer to prepare and Jumpstart is thrilled to unveil them at NorthStar’s amazing facility.
