DAILY CRUNCH INC., a Nashville startup with a "better-for-you" snackfood line, recently filed with the SEC for a $4MM Series A equity raise, reporting roughly $1.14MM in from 10 investors.

Co-Founder CEO Laurel Orley confirmed the company has secured agreement to launch into 453 Target stores in April, adding its Nashville Hot Sprouted Almonds & Dill Pickle Sprouted Almonds flavors to the group's alternative snack settings.

Orley added that within the next 12 months its universe of points of distribution and retail partnerships is likely to reach 6,000, up from roughly 5,000 POD currently via CVS, Wegmans, Meijer, Giant, Erewhon, Foxtrot, Nugget and others.

The Daily Crunch team won "Market Mover" designation in the Nashville EC's most recent NEXT Awards.

Orley's savvy comes through in her '22 post here about snaring certified Woman-owned Daily Crunch's appearance on Good Morning America.
