Update on the Nashville Area Chamber, which operates in the 10-county Middle Tennessee area: Of the total 1,800-plus Nashville Chamber area members, more than 60 percent of the total have 0-25 employees and three-fourths of the total members have fewer than 50 employees each. Roughly one in every six Nashville Chamber member organizations has a workforce of 100 or more employees.

The Chamber has been known as the voice of the region's business community since 1847. It was first registered with the Tennessee Secretary of State in 1888.

The NELAs program is not to be confused with another local program, 21-year-old Nashville Emerging Leaders, which is an 11-week leadership training program for young professionals that is facilitated by staff of Nashville-based Strategy and Leadership LLCThe deadline for applications for its next cohort is Sept. 25, 2025, by 11pm Central Time.  VNC
